Beginners/New to Yoga

Pranayoga offers both technique 1 and 2 classes, such as yoga 101, yoga basics, and All-levels for those students and teachers wanting to learn more detail in poses and yoga philosophy, and Practice 2/3 classes where we flow a little faster, and get a little sweaty, such as Slow flow, Power Yoga, and Vinyasa (please have prior basics, yoga 101, or All-Levels before these classes). All of our classes and teachers have the common thread of holding a safe, supportive place to explore mind, body and spirit.


We recommend the following classes for Beginner Students and those newer to yoga:

Yoga 101

A fun workshop held throughout the year allows those new to yoga to learn the fundamentals of yoga in a nurturing and relaxing environment. Need to miss a week. No problem. Get a voucher from the class missed and join us that week during the next workshop. These are held 4 times a year at each location.

Meditation

Beginners mind workshop-offered twice a year.

Intro to Yoga

A 75 minute private session where focus is on the fundamentals of yoga and alignment in the postures. Perfect for beginners before entering a group class. Bring a friend for just 10.00 more.

Private Sessions

Ideal for those students wishing to gain personal direction and guidance, deepening their yoga practice with one on one attention from the teacher of their choice.


Next Yoga 101: 4 week beginner workshop at 218 Pearl Street Downtown w/ Dani

 Join teacher Dani McGuire,E-RYT500, to learn the Fundamentals of Yoga in a nurturing and relaxing environment. Work with alignment and breath to learn the essential poses that are the foundation of any yoga practice. Yoga 101-4 weeks of fun. Class 1:Introduction to Yoga + Flow Class 2: Alignment principals 101 Class 3: Grounding and Energizing Practice-Forward Folds and Heart Openers Class 4: Twists, Inversions, and Balance on and off our mats. Class meets Wednesdays 7:15-8:30, 4 week workshop is 60.00 and includes the following: 2 Free Passes during the session to try out any of our classes, 20% off of any workshop or clothing in our boutique, 20% off of any class pass yoga package,10% off of private yoga sessions, 10% off of yoga therapy, and 10% off of thai massage session purchased during the 4 week session.Register early. This class usually sells out!!
