“Having had a pretty steady yoga practice prior to becoming pregnant, I was happy to give the Pranamammas prenatal yoga classes a try once the normal classes became a bit too much for me and my growing belly. While it was great to be able to continue my practice, I also found myself part of this new club of moms-to-be, and part of the fun every week was getting the updates on how everyone was doing with their pregnancy. The classes also gave me a chance to have some dedicated “me” time every week where I could relax and focus on baby and me.”

“Prenatal yoga was one of the greatest things I did for myself during my pregnancy journey. As a beginner to yoga, I was unsure what kind of experience I would walk away with, but I’m pleased to say it was incredible! Throughout my weekly practices, I was able to develop a vision for my labor and delivery. These classes taught me the power and importance of the breath, and trained my body to relax and let go. They also provided relief to the normal aches and pains experienced during pregnancy. I am so thankful for my commitment to yoga throughout my pregnancy, as I truly believe it empowered me to have the amazing natural childbirth I desired.”

Tara Moeller

Tara began thinking about yoga years before beginning to practice. Always one to try new fitness and healing pathways, upon taking her first class in 2018, she felt a sense of finally coming home. After completing her Sattva Hatha 200hr teacher training in 2021, she immediately began pursuing a path to become a Yoga Therapist. In early 2024, Tara will finish her 1000hr Yoga Therapy training and start working through clinicals to obtain her IAYT license. Throughout this time, Tara completed a 500hr RYT, 80hr RPT in the Pre/Postnatal space, and a 100hr Ayurveda and Yoga Certification.

Tara enjoys co-creating with students and their energies to bring vitality and bliss into the mind, body, and spirit. Yoga can be an integral part of finding happiness, wholeness, and ease [sukka]. She aims to inspire students to find their own intuitive movements - each journey is uniquely its own! Class styles range from Sattva Vinyasa, Sattva Hatha, therapeutic, restorative, meditation and Yoga Nidra practices, as well as chakra aligned flows. Always one to offer a multitude of pranayama practices and mudras (breath work and hand gestures) to keep building on the foundational postures, steering us deeper into oneself. Tara firmly believes we are all inherently good and strong, and enjoys helping build confidence through Yoga and Ayurveda.
